VINTAGE 1971 SCHWINN BOYS STING-RAY BICYCLE ALL ORIGINAL LEMON YELLOW WITH ORIGINAL SCHWINN TIRES THE REAR TIRE IS A "SLIK" THAT SAYS: "Keep Inflated 30-35 Rounds; Schwinn Sting-Ray Slik; Nylon Made in USA; 20 x 2.25 to fit S-2 Tubular Rim" THE FRONT TIME SAYS: "Schwinn Westwind Nylon made in USA; 2 x 1 3/4 to fit Schwinn S-7 tubular rim" The original seat has noticeable wear and has clear marine tape protecting seat. The handle bars and rim chrome have been cleaned of most of it's rust pithing with a safe and reliable green product called "Scour-Off" by Shaklee that was formerly known as At-Ease Cleaner made from cherry pits. We are happy to share this because it works so well to restore old chrome! This bike is known as a One Speed with a 'Coaster Brake' The Frame is 12" from top of seat tube to pedal housing. Wheels are both 16" rims. The handle bars 14" height and a 26" span. THIS BIKE WAS MADE IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, USA SERIAL NUMBER CGO93162 It Weighs around 40#, is a beautiful survivor of one of Schwinn's most genius models in very good condition in regards to it's age and being lovingly rode.
