1962 Schwinn Typhoon Trio 20"/24"/26". BLACK Restored

This is a set of 3 1962 Schwinn Middleweight Typhoon bikes in the 3 sizes that it was made in. All 3 are fully restored to like new condition.  They are as correct as I could get them, but there might be a few things that are not perfectly correct for the model year. I have these bikes available in BLACK as well as RED. 1962 was the only year Schwinn made the Typhoon with a straight top bar. They originally did this to establish a price difference between the Typhoon and some of the other models that they were offering. Schwinn thought the straight bar would somehow make the Typhoon appear "cheaper" than the cantilever top bar models, but after a year, they realized they were spending more trying to make the bike seem of lesser value. So after one year the Typhoon frame was made the same as the other middleweights. My first Schwinn bike was a 1962 model and so when I got older I restored all the '62's in all sizes and colors. Now it's time to find a new collector for them. I can provide more photos to an interested party.
